Hearing the news that your loved one has died is a shock to your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual self. While your Mind attempts to process the terrible news, your Body is flush with hormones triggering your flight or fight response and, barely breathing, that moment imprints on your body. Your Heart is shattered into a million pieces as you feel sorrow that has no comparison. Your Soul reaches for an answer and is met with silence. Most support for healing from loss is focused mental and emotional trauma, leaving your Body over-stressed and holding the memory of the worst moments in your life. Your Soul questions your own mortality, the existence of a God, or the existence of a God that could let something so painful happen.
I know. This was my experience following the life-death-birth of my son, Jason.
It doesn’t have to be that way. After decades of making unhealthy decisions that impacted myself and family, I began a healing path that resulted in a holistic approach to transforming grief. Having attained balance in my mental, physical, and emotional parts, and grounded firmly in my Spirituality, I cared for my terminally ill daughter, Amanda, until she died in my arms. I will grieve her loss for the rest of my days. This time, grief did not steal my identity, attack my health or separate me from my Source.
I am committed to walking this healing path with you.

I teach people how to prepare for loss and grief. We spend hours making plans for our education, careers, marriage parenthood, and retirement. Yet, the one event that can, and often, derails us from those plans is the death of someone or something we love. We just don’t want to think about it, let alone talk about it.
Heart Centered Leadership in the Time of Loss and Grief is the entry level conversation about death. We discuss what happens to you – mentally, physically, spiritually - when you hear the news that someone or something has died. We talk about the how different types of people (including you) grieve differently. Together, we review and personalize a plan to help you prepare for supporting yourself, friend, colleague – even a stranger, through the most difficult and life changing event you may ever experience.
